Previous paddling camp or paddle training is expected. Instructors in training will learn the basics of group management; equipment inspections and handling; paddle technique as well as safety on and near the water. Leaders in Training are expected to attend an extra hour each day immediately before or after camp for personal reflection and mentorship.
